What's a teleclass?
A teleclass is a learning forum over the phone. As few as two or as many as a hundred participants can get together by calling the same number and listening and participating on the call. Usually one or two people lead the call and let participants know when participation is appropriate. Subject matter and amount of participation vary with each class. It's like going to a lecture or workshop without ever leaving the comfort of home (or office.)
When do they run and on what topics?
New topics are always in development at Julz of Life. Keep this page in your bookmarks and watch for updates or subscribe to The Gem and receive updates automatically!
What's the investment?
Occasionally, one-hour teleclasses are offered free of charge. The only investment is your time, commitment to learning and the long distance for 50-60 minutes on the call (your own carrier would determine that cost per minute.) Special workshops and longer programs are individually priced. For those, payment is acceptable by PayPal or check.
What's teleclass etiquette?
When you call into a teleclass, you should be in a room as free from distraction and background noise as possible. If noise is still inevitable, use a phone with a muting function. Refrain from using cell phones or speaker phones as they often contribute unwanted feedback to the call. Be on time or two-three minutes early. State your name before you speak (every time) and avoid having conversations with one or two others on the call. Make your contributions valuable for the whole group.
